I've read almost every one of Portia da Costa's books and my favourite, Gothic Blue, was taking some toppling from the top of my favourites' list, but In Too Deep achieved it! Seriously sexy librarian Gwendolynne Price begins to find smutty notes in the suggestion box of the library, specifically addressed to her. Curiosity soon gets the better of her, and she embarks on an erotic adventure with a man she's never met...

Soon though, the eroticism gets the better of Gwendolynne and she decides she must meet her mystery man in the flesh - and that begins a whole new adventure!

Although the plot is fabulous and unlike anything else I've read, it wasn't that which made this book so hot for me. It's the characters. Both Gwendolyne and Daniel MADE this book. They're fantastic. Gwen is portrayed as a curvy woman with 'ample' flesh - but because of the way it's written, this is what makes her so desirable. From the physical descriptions of her body you feel that she is a total sex goddess. I absolutely loved this, because it will make women realise they don't have to be stick-thin to be considered sexy. It's a real ego-boost for curvy women, not to mention being packed full of steamy sex scenes and the hottest of Portia's male leads to date!

The sex in the book is so damn hot that you'll feel jealous of Gwendolynne and be reaching for your partner immediately!

Who Would I Buy It For?

As Black Lace books are written by women for women - I'd say any female you know well enough to buy her an erotic book! But to be honest, I reckon lots of men would get off on this seriously hot story. Although there's lots of focus on the seriously sexy Professor, Gwendolynne is also a luscious woman that I think lots of guys will lust over!
